Bio
Dr. Todd H. Gazda has served as Superintendent of the Ludlow Public Schools since 2012. Prior to that he was a both a middle and high school teacher of English and Social Studies as well as middle and high school principal in the Gateway Regional district. Earlier, he practiced law in New York City. Dr. Gazda is an outspoken advocate for systemic change in our educational system. He believes we must build within our students the skills necessary to thrive in the dynamic 21st century global environment. It is not enough to layer technology on top of what we already do; we must seamlessly integrate technology to drive and support holistic transformation of our schools and districts, as well as instructional practices in classrooms. Dr. Gazda earned his Ed.D. at the University of Hartford, his J.D. degree at the Catholic University of America, his M.Ed. at Westfield State University, and B.A., with a double major in English and History, at Syracuse University.
