Steve Ouellette has been the Director of Technology, Learning, and Innovation for Westwood Public Schools since 2010. Before that, he held the position of Math Department Chair in the Walpole and Westwood school districts. Early in his teaching career, Steve developed an interest in incorporating educational technology in the teaching of mathematics. He formed a relationship with Texas Instruments, writing a number of books and activities that feature their educational technology. He also became a regular activity writer for the We All Use Math Everyda program, a Texas Instruments and NCTM joint venture project that provided classroom activities that related mathematics to the TV series NUMB3RS. In his current role, Steve is fascinated by the changing economy, the exponential increase in artificial intelligence/automation, and the implications these changes will have for K-12 education in the near future.
